Echo Beach

Located just South of the much larger Breezes Beach Club and Spa, this intimate and upmarket hotel has a wonderful beachfront location in a peaceful and less crowded setting. Independently owned and run by Sue and Andrew, Echo Beach provides excellent service and fine dining in a great location.

Accommodation

9 large private villas offer spacious and stylish accommodation combining unpretentious African architecture with state of the art technology, interior design, fixtures and fittings. Each Villa also features a large private veranda measuring in excess of 20 square metres. They are stylishly furnished with day beds so guests can while away the hours, taking in the superlative ocean views. Dining tables and chairs are also provided for romantic alfresco dining.

All Villas have stunning en-suite bathrooms with Italian tiles and Samuel Heath showers and taps for the ultimate wet room experience. Impeccable design and technology are combined with quirky individual touches, such as bespoke towel rail ladders made from local coconut wood.
Pool
Imagine basking in the sun by the ultimate infinity pool overlooking clear white sands and crystal blue sea. Why not lounge in the Jacuzzi before enjoying a dip to cool off?

Bar
With a refreshing breeze blowing in from the sea, guests can unwind and relax with a decadent cocktail in the stylish bar area, where designer fabrics are teamed with Zanzibar carved furnishings.

Restaurant
Andrew is trained as a French Chef and has served many famous people throughout his career. This is reflected in a menu that makes the most of the freshest locally sourced ingredients, delivering international favourites and more traditional Zanzibari cuisine.

Our Opinion on Echo Beach

This is another very stylish boutique hotel in a great location for relaxing on the beach and soaking up the peaceful and calming environment.

Echo Beach has good facilities and is well located for kite surfing or other water sports which can be arranged at reception. The food is particularly good here, and as it is a small resort, you are guaranteed great service and attention.
