The Hotel, which is built on a short coral cliff located furthest North in Matemwe and has 11 luxurious villas that overlook Mnemba island and its coral reef. Beach access is intermittent as the ocean comes right up to the cliff at high tide but there is another beach just a short walk away. The villas are spacious and beautifully furnished with a private baraza outdoor lounge with its own plunge pool with shaded sun terrace.

Accommodation
Villas are identical throughout and arranged so that all offer sea views. Some are closer to the sea, which is why there is a sea view and sea front category. Guests should be aware that sea front villas do not have direct access to the beach as they are also located on the coral cliff. The Villas are spacious, open plan and tastefully decorated with a lounge area, outside shaded sun deck and plunge pool.

The team at Kasha firmly believe that fine dining is an important element to any holiday and provides a menu that makes the most of all the flavours and aromas that Zanzibar have to offer.
A typical menu will offer a choice of three starters, main courses and desserts and will usually include sea food caught fresh daily, vegetarian and meat or poultry dishes. Ingredients are locally sourced with jams and marmalades also made locally.

Romantic moonlight dinners can be organized at your Villa, the Pool or in Kasha’s special dining deck overlooking the sea.

The Nargili Bar offers a large selection of international brands and Kasha’s barmen will take the pleasure in mixing your favourite cocktail.

Water Front Bar and Infinity Pool
The Hotel has an Infinity pool with its own ‘Water Front Bar’ located on the cliff. Enjoy your lunches, snacks and cocktails with panoramic veiws of the Mnemba Island and the Indian Ocean.

Matemwe is a local fishing village with a handful of small hotels catering for people in search for tranquillity or to make the most of the excellent diving and snorkelling around the famous Mnemba Atol. Kasha supports the local the community buy sourcing sea food and other locally produced goods as well as arranging fishing trips on the islands’ traditional dhow boats.
Kasha Boutique Hotel can arrange village visits for those interested in learning about local customs and culture. Local ceremonies and weddings may also be attended with prior arrangement.

Kasha offers spacious and good quality accommodation and a level of luxury not usually available in this price range, especially with the free night offers and special packages for honeymoon couples.
