Villa Serenity is a small luxury beachfront resort located in Paje in eastern Zanzibar comprising just 5 private villas each with private pool.

Designed by renowned Austrian architect Rupert Weber, each villa is every bit as remarkable as its picturesque natural surroundings. The striking designs combine traditional North African architectural elements with luxurious Zanzibari flourishes.

The two-storey villas each showcase an exotic blend of Moorish and Maghrebi-Andalusian-style features, from stunning cusped arches, heavy-beamed high ceilings and spectacular skylights, married with finely-crafted and traditional Zanzibari wooden doors and windows.

Marbled terraces overlooking the ocean provide spectacular sunrise and sunset views and a breath-taking glimpse of the immense, star-studded night sky.

High ceilings, spacious interiors featuring furniture designed by local artisans and a bubbling marble fountain at the centre of each villa, combine to create dramatic interiors.

Each villa has a small kitchenette for tea and coffee and making small snacks, then there is a main restaurant serving a la carte meals. Meals can alternatively be served to you in your villa. Drinks and extra meals are run on account, to be settled on check out. The resort manager can also advise on, and book any of the islands excursions for you.

There are only 5 villas in the resort, the perfect place for families wanting excellent privacy, but perhaps not total isolation.
